One of the OG reality shows that is now in its 36th (!!) season– The Amazing Race is a classic for good reason. Friends, couples, roommates, colleagues, or even strangers pair up to compete in this global battle with the hope of taking home the million dollar prize. The race is split up into legs which the pairs navigate via plane, train, taxi, or by foot to get to the final destination the fastest on a limited budget. They’ll have to navigate to their next destination by any means necessary and by problem solving faster than their competing teams. The last teams to arrive are at risk of elimination– so to stay in the race you’ve got to be quick on your feet!

I love to travel and this show piqued my interest for that reason. Some of the challenges are silly and some of them are really interesting because you learn about the local culture and what the people in that country do or value. I also love to watch the dynamic between the teams and within the teams. How will each pair work together when the going gets tough? You never know…
